Ownership & Management Ineptness/Apathy

Can't we just play our BEST players every day???

Ch-ch-ch-ch-Changes…Turn and face the strange…Ch-ch-Changes

Don’t want to be a richer man…Ch-ch-Changes…Just gonna have to be a different man.  (David Bowie song).  Well, Hurdle is at it again.  The Pirates only had 6 hits last night but were the beneficiaries of a wild pitcher in the 1st inning.  2 of those 6 hits went to Elias Diaz, the 294 hitting catcher that also had 2 RBIs.  He’s on the bench tonight.  2 more of those 6 hits went to Jose Osuna, who also had 2 RBIs.  He too is on the bench tonight!  Osuna has more RBIs than Polonco and has 100 less at bats.  But Polonco it is tonight.  Diaz is hitting 294, but we are going with Chris Stewart and his 192 average tonight.  Always bad Ch-ch-ch-Changes.

Wow……..just goes to show you that anyone could make these bad decisions!!! With all the money that these managers make and all the analytics that are at their finger tips you would think that they would make decisions that make sense. Instead, thathey make decisions that dopey (boxing jimmy reference) could make at a quarter of the cost! Well if Hurdle keeps making Ch-ch-ch changes like this…….upper management better start thinking about ch-ch-ch changing him!!!!! Better be a Revolution!!!!!!

Bucs won. But 1 for 8 between Polonco and Stewart. Gotta think Diaz and Osuna would’ve fared better.

Shout out to Paul Zeise (93.7) who managed to cleverly insert the song in a sports discussion today. He even sang a line!
    Thanks

I stand corrected. Was just informed that the singer was Jack Zduriencik on 93.7. Sorry, but thanks to Jack

Boxing Jimmy Says:

In an already crowded 4-man outfield, Jordan Luplow gets playing time!??

This news will likely be overlooked, since the Pirates won their first series in 2 weeks, but playing time decisions are a major head-scratcher.  Hurdle, who at times looks like he throws a dart blind-folded at a roster to decide who leads off, takes his outfield shuffling to a new level. [...]
